Reg Speaks Out Against Tory Proposals

In a recent interview with the Hartlepool Mail, the Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for Hartlepool spoke out against the Conservative proposals for the Hartlepool University Hospital.

Reg Clark said that the Tory claims to keep the hospital open were "irresponsible" and that voters needed more than just "emotional slogans."

"The Labour Party has only recently reneged on an electoral promise made in respect of the hospital to achieve electoral success - why should the voters of Hartlepool expect anything else from the Tories?"

Reg is standing for the Liberal Democrat party in Hartlepool at the next general election - the only party which can possibly defeat Labour.
